GREAT, GREAT NEWS

I want to thank everyone for their prayers. The Village Ministry is now a 501(c)(3) organization. Praise God... Given Him all the credit. The process usually takes 6 to 9 months for the approval from the Internal Revenue Service. God did it in 2 and 1/2 months. May God be the Glory. Now God is moving the Ministry to the next level. Please keep us in prayer as we are about our Father business. Amen...

When Family and Friends come together

I would really love to thank each and every one of the families and friends down in North Carolina  that pull together  in helping with the needs of personal items for the homeless shelter.  It was a beautiful thing to see.  All the bags and boxes of razors, shampoos, toothpaste, lotions, deodorants, socks and so much more that I can't name it all.  You have truly bless the ministry and the homeless.  When I returned back to New York and delivered the stuff to the lady at the shelter, she told me that it was like Christmas and she was so emotional and appreciative of all the items given.  May God continue  blessing each and every one of you.   We can make a difference... You have proven that.  May God be the Glory and get the Glory of it all....  God bless...:):D

A May 2011 Story

A spoonful of Peanut Butter and a glass of water as a meal before bed each night for months, is not a pleasant thought for anyone.  This person was full of pride and just didn't want to ask for help.  But GOD had a different plan.  Prideful, yes; but it was their honesty that led them to cross an angel's path.  Having had received monies they knew was not their own, they set out to return it.  While doing this GOD directed them to Mrs. Deborah Powell-Lapi.  The founder of the Village Ministry.  Being deeply touched by this reluctantly told story, the ministry immediately had another neighbor to lend support.  This begins another connection and a new story.  Praise the Lord!!!!!
